Frequently Asked Questions

What time are you available for fittings?
Fittings will be scheduled during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Will I need to ride?
Yes, you and your horse must be ready to ride. Your horse must be sound and should be saddled before your fitting begins. You will need to have your current bit, bridle, and a helmet.

What else do I need to make sure my horse and I are ready?
Your horse must be sound and have been seen by an equine dentist within the last 6 months. If you are trying a specific bit, for instance a jumping bit, you will need to have jumps set up to test its effectiveness.

Who should be at my appointment?
All decision makers should be present during your fitting. This includes a parent, trainer, spouse, etc.

Am I required to buy a new bit or bridle?
While you are not required to purchase any of the products we try at your fitting, we have many products in stock and ready for you to begin using right away.

If I have to order a special piece or bit how long will it take?
We continually keep a large showcase on hand, but some speciality bits or out of stock items could take 3-4 weeks to ship. Additionally, a few pieces could take several months to arrive if they are out of stock.

What if there's bad weather during my scheduled fitting?
If we are under a heat advisory or a snowstorm occurs and it is unsafe to ride your initial deposit will be transferred to your new scheduled fitting date. If a new date cannot be scheduled your deposit will be returned.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, credit card, PayPal and Venmo
